Spring means new beginnings, which also means spring cleaning. This might sound boring, but it’s incredibly necessary, especially in your bedroom, which has been collecting dust all winter. And once you’ve done your spring cleaning, you might realize that you need to update your room decor. Does that mean it’s time to break the bank at the store? No! It means it’s time to break out the glue gun and begin on a few DIY decoration projects for your room. 1. Paint old mason jars to use them as vases or pretty containers for small objects.

With a little help from some paint, you can transform boring mason jars into beautiful vases to hold your favorite flowers. Mason jar vases will help add a pretty touch of spring to your room. If you’re not into flowers, you can use these to hold smaller items like makeup brushes, pens, or even combs.

You’ll first need to sand down the sides and back of the drawers to make them nice and smooth.
